There are lots of student accommodation options on www.thecountnpa.co.za but here’s a quick overview of the types of rooms you can get:

  • The shared room: This allows you to enjoy the communal feeling of a shared room, which sleeps two or more in separate beds. Perfect if you have a university buddy you want to share with. Any additional living space and facilities are shared with other rooms.
  • The private room: With this option there is no need to share as your sleep and study space is your own. Get to know your neighbours in any shared additional living spaces.

Yes, of course. In order to arrange a viewing of a property you will need to contact the office on 012 880 6081 and schedule your preferred viewing date with the booking consultant. If you are trying to view a property from another country, our listings include lots of high-res images and we can arrange for a virtual reality tours for some!

 

Your rent gives you the right to inhabit the property. Your rent include all utilities in the rental prices as well.

24/7 top security surveillance, fully furnished rooms, uncapped top speed wi-fi, cleaning and laundry facilities, water and electricity, entertainment and study area, free printing of school documents, high performance computers and free sanitary pads for ladies – this is just to name a few. Please contact our expert booking consultant for more details.

 

You should hear back within 24 hours during the regular business week. In order for a member of our expert bookings team to get in touch you need to register online  or call the office number directly and then choose the property/room you would like to book.

 

Many properties have fixed move-in and move-out dates that correspond with the academic calendar. The Count also has a fixed contract for the students with various options to choose from. Please speak with one of our expert booking consultants for more details.

 

Any full-time student registered at a recognised tertiary education institution or any young professionals under the age of 29, can live at The Count.

 

Yes, we have secured parking bays available at our building, with 24/7 security surveillance.

No. You do not need to vacate your room during student holidays and are able to stay through permanently for your entire lease period.

 

We provide fast and reliable uncapped 50gb upload and  download speed internet throughout the whole building, the rooms and the communal areas.

 

Yes, The Count has self-help laundry facilities on the ground floor.

 

Yes, The Count has a no noise policy, to ensure our students are well rested and have sufficient time to study in peace. The rule is stipulated in our House rules guidelines which can be accessed if and when requested.
